Which bus do I take? Singapore bus route planner
Say where you are and where you are going. NAVIG shows the buses to catch, where to change, roughly how long it takes and when the first bus is due. No MRT in the answer, only buses and a bit of walking.
Why use a bus-only route planner?
A bus-only planner suits people who avoid the MRT, live far from a station, or find a train too crowded or costly for a short hop. NAVIG plans with Singapore's bus network and walking only, compares direct buses with changes, and shows the live wait for the first bus. It never routes you underground.
How it works
Choose where you start
A bus stop by name or code, or My location. NAVIG also offers stops a short walk away when boarding there is quicker.
Say where to
Type a bus stop, a building, a postal code or an address. Saved places such as Home and Work are one tap.
Pick a trip
See the buses, the stops to board and get off, any change, the estimated time and the wait for the first bus. Show it on the map, share it, or start the trip.
Built for bus riders
Bus only, on purpose
Trips use buses and walking. If a trip has no good bus answer, NAVIG says so and shows the nearest options, rather than sending you underground.
Direct first, changes when they help
Direct buses come first. Trips with one or two changes are shown when there is no direct bus, or when they save at least 15 minutes.
Live first-bus wait
The first bus shows its live arrival at the stop where you board, from LTA DataMall.
Follow it on your phone
Start trip tells you the next step, how many stops to go, and when to get off or change.
The route on a map
Each bus is drawn along its road with the stops to board, change and alight marked, plus a dashed line for any walk.
Share a trip
Every trip has a link, so a friend opens exactly the same buses.
Times are estimates from road distance, how often each service runs at that time of day, and a walking allowance. Traffic, breakdowns and the final walk to your door are not counted. Bus data: LTA DataMall. Places: OneMap.
Questions
How do I find which bus to take from one place to another in Singapore?
Open the planner, choose your start (a bus stop, or My location) and type your destination: a bus stop, a building or an address. NAVIG lists the buses that get you there, shortest first, with where to board, where to get off and where to change.
Does the planner include MRT?
No. It plans trips on buses only, which suits anyone who wants to avoid the MRT or whose trip has no good train link. Walking to or between bus stops is included. For trains, see the NAVIG MRT page for crowd levels and service alerts.
How many bus changes can it plan?
Direct buses, and trips with one or two changes. Next to a direct bus, a trip with a change is shown only when it saves at least 15 minutes.
Does it show when the next bus arrives?
Yes. Each trip shows the live wait for the first bus at the stop where you board, from LTA DataMall arrival data, and it refreshes while you look.
Are the journey times exact?
No, they are estimates. They use the road distance between stops, how often the service runs at that time of day, a short allowance for waiting and a walking allowance. Traffic, breakdowns and the final walk to your destination are not counted. Treat the time as a guide.
Can I search for a building or an address?
Yes. Destinations can be a bus stop name or code, a building, a postal code or an address from OneMap. NAVIG matches it to the nearest bus stops and plans to those.
Can it guide me while I travel?
Yes. Press Start trip to follow the journey on your phone: it shows the next step, how many stops to go, and when to get off or change. It needs location access, and NAVIG keeps the screen awake while you follow a trip.
Is it free and do I need an account?
It is free and needs no account. Saved places such as Home and Work stay on your device.
