Questions about Singapore planning areas by region
Where do the planning-area boundaries come from?
The boundaries are from OneMap, Singapore Land Authority. Stations and bus interchanges are assigned by whether their recorded coordinates fall inside each boundary.
Which year do the population and housing figures describe?
Resident population, travel-to-work and dwelling figures describe the SingStat Census of Population 2020. Missing census figures are marked unavailable, rather than treated as zero.
Are the area travel times live?
Area journey times are estimates from the committed timetable model for a weekday at 9 am. Each area names its model origin, the nearest node to the area centroid. Access travel to that node is excluded.
