Each marker is one of KTMB (national railway) vehicles that the Malaysian government's open GTFS Realtime vehicle position feed (data.gov.my) reports with a GPS position. The map reloads every 20 seconds and the feed is cached for up to two minutes, so positions can be a little behind. A vehicle that does not report a position is not shown, and the map says so when the feed lists none. Tap a vehicle and choose Show route to draw its trip and stops. NAVIG is independent and not run by KTMB.
