Nearest recycling machines

What is BCRS in Singapore?

The Beverage Container Return Scheme (BCRS) is run by ReturnRight. Eligible pre-packaged drinks in plastic bottles and metal cans carry a refundable deposit, which you get back when you return the empty container to a reverse vending machine (RVM) or return point.

How do I find the nearest recycling machine for bottles and cans?

Use the location button on the map, or search for your address, MRT station or mall. NAVIG lists the 10 closest ReturnRight machines with distance, status, address and opening hours, and links to walking directions.

How do I know if a machine is working or full?

Each machine is marked Working, Full or Offline. Pick Working to hide the rest. Status comes from ReturnRight and can lag the machine, so a nearby second option is worth checking.

How often is the machine data updated?

NAVIG refreshes the ReturnRight machine list and status roughly every hour. The page shows the time of the last successful update.
